Inspired by real historical merchants from Sanyuan, the story follows figures like Yuan Xihe, who embody the grief and patriotism of the local people. They send their sons to the battlefield and sacrifice their fortunes to support the resistance. Under the leadership of the Communist Party, the people of Sanyuan stand united in the national struggle, embodying resilience, sacrifice, and courage in the face of national crisis.
