Hakuryu's chivalrous spirit is a powerful force as he sharply cuts his way through the bloodthirsty Hakata yakuza and the war between the yakuza and a huge organization. Nanshu-gumi and Awami-gumi are the two major forces controlling Hakata. However, the Awakai-gumi, suffering from financial difficulties due to the closing of a coal mine, joins forces with the Hamamoto-gumi, the largest organization in Kobe, and begins to target the Nanshu-gumi's territory. After much deliberation, Hiroi, a young leader of the Nanshu clan, calls on his old friend Tatsuya Shirakawa and decides to fight to protect the clan and Hakata.
